The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Male Chastity

My labor of love, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Male Chasity, is now in editing. It will be released on Amazon July 14, 2020. In the future I may make the book available on the sites of other online booksellers. But for at least the first six months it will be available exclusively on Amazon so that it can be offered free to those who subscribe to Kindle Unlimited. The book will also be published simultaneously in trade paperback.

I have attempted to put together a comprehensive guide with everything you need to know in one place about male chastity in the 21st century. When I first got involved with chastity, I couldn’t find a book like this. I still can’t. There are books for new keyholders, books for male chastity within the dynamics of full on female led relationships, books on chastity devices, and tons of male chastity erotica. So, I decided to write the kind of book I wish had been available when I was new to chastity.

I have divided The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Male Chastity into two parts. Part 1 is aimed at guys interested in learning more about male chastity who are considering trying it. I have devoted Part 2, to women whose male partners have asked their wives and partners to put them in chastity devices and to become their keyholders.

Want to know more? You can click on the “Chastity Guide” tab on the menu above to go to the book’s page on this website, or you can visit the Amazon product page.

Note: The free preview link below will not show a preview until July 14 since the title is currently on pre-order status.

A269 Bird Hook Cage Device Review

Having found myself with some time this afternoon, I decided to post a review for the device I’ve been wearing the last few days, the A269 Bird Hook Cage Device.

Mostly thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the frequency of my posting here has dwindled. Other things of higher priorities have consumed my attention. Things like trying to save my retirement accounts from complete destruction, finding new sources for toilet paper, etc. I’m sure you get the drift as I’m sure anyone reading this has their own pandemic war stories to tell. To be fair, I’ve also been spending a lot of time on my writing. I have a slew of books I have to have ready for publication in the fall. So there is that, too. Now, on to the review.

Intro

Don’t get too wrapped up in the terminology here. This device it seems is available from just about everywhere on the planet that sells made in China metal chastity devices. Most suppliers have their own name and model number for it. Some have none at all. But, given its rather distinctive appearance, it’s sort of like porn. Maybe you can’t define it, but you sure as hell know it when you see it.

I’ve been wanting to take this micro-chastity device for a test drive ever since reading Thumper’s review of it on his blog, Denying Thumper. I actually ordered one way back then and have had it for months, but only got around to trying it out this past weekend.

The device is manufactured (at least the one I have) from medical grade stainless steel. The device is available either with or without a plastic urethral tube. The assembled tube has a threaded connection at one end that passes through the urination hole in the nose of the device, and the usual connection on the other end designed for insertion into the urethral opening of your Johnson.

If you want the urethral tube, make sure you read the fine print on the site where you intend to purchase the device. Many of the places I’ve looked at didn’t include it. Where it is offered, it is generally included in the price.

The Bird Hook comes with one solid steel base ring available in the three usual sizes, and an integrated brass “magic lock” with two keys.

Meet the Bird Hook

a269-bird-hook-review
A269 Bird Hook Cage Device

The Bird Hook is another standard ball-trapping device. There is a female receiver welded to the top front of the base ring that accepts the male part of the locking mechanism. Once they have been joined together, the “magic lock” slides from left to right into the channel formed by the two parts. There are also steels pins welded to the cap on either side of the locking device that gets inserted into corresponding drilled holes on the front of the base ring. The purpose of these pins is to provide the necessary gap between the base ring and cage and maybe for some extra stability when the device is locked in place.

As a review, here is the parts list for this medical grade stainless steel device:

  1. Solid stainless steel base ring.
  1. Stainless steel (shower head style) cage with a center urethral opening.
  1. Integrated brass “magic lock” with two keys.
  1. Plastic urethral tube with end fittings (Optional)

Fit

Because it is a micro-cage, to join the cage, which is like a large, cupped stainless steel button, to the base ring, it requires your flaccid penis to “turtle” up inside the body. This is something I first experienced with my Cherry Keeper cage, which works similarly. I find it quite comfortable. Since the cage (or cap as I call it) does little more than cover the head of the penis, I think it’s realistically a one-size-fits-all proposition, and most any guy could wear this device without problems.

The Bird Hook Doing It’s Thing

micro-chastity-device

Comfort

This is seriously one of the most comfortable chastity devices I have ever worn. After three days, and two nights wearing it, I hardly realize I even have it on. It is a hefty piece of steel, yet given the small footprint, you get the satisfying feel of solid steel between your legs without any feeling of heaviness. I absolutely love the low profile, which doesn’t produce a noticeable chastity bump, no matter what you’re wearing.

As you can see in the image of me wearing the device, my urethral opening is perfectly aligned with the urination hole. I don’t know if it was pure luck that happened when I put it on a few days ago or not since I’ve not removed it and put it back on. But, as a result of the alignment, I can stand up and pee like a real boy without spraying the entire toilet. I get a predictable, steady stream whenever I need to urinate. There is a beveled edge on the interior side of the cage where it slips over the head of the penis, and that seems to hold the head in place. This is the reason I believe my urethral opening has remained perfectly aligned since I put the thing on. That begs the question about the usefulness of the urethral tube.

Personally, I’m not a fan of shoving things inside my urethra. Especially in this COVID-19 era, I don’t want to chance an infection right now. Having some experience with penis plugs, I know from experience that you can do everything right and still sometimes end up with an infection. Ordinarily, it’s no big deal, but right now isn’t a great time to make an unnecessary trip to the doctor.

The thing I dislike most about the urethral tube supplied with this device is it comes in separate parts—two detachable stainless steel fittings that you press into the ends of the short length of rubber tubing, and the tubing itself. This is not something that is ever going inside my urethra. However, remote the chance, in the worst-case scenario, the insertion bit could become detached from the hose. I’ve heard a few horror stories where that exact thing happened. In all but one of those stories, an embarrassing trip to the ER was required to have it professionally removed. If I ever get the urge to use a tube with a device, I’ll stick to a solid piece of stainless steel tubing. And, as mentioned earlier, if you get things lined up correctly, the tube seems completely unnecessary.

Security

The device seems as secure as you could reasonably expect from any ball-trapping device worn without a piercing. I suspect there is a Harry Houdini or two out there who could find a way to slip it off while locked. But for most of us who put on a chastity device for its intended purpose and not as an escape attempt challenge, the Bird Hook offers ample security.

Hygiene

In my opinion, this device will likely have to be removed periodically to perform effective cleaning if it is worn for extended periods. The cage (or cap) completely encases the head of the penis, and directing water at the tiny holes in the nose won’t likely come close to allowing for effective cleaning. On the other hand, the “turtled” shaft of the penis resides inside the wearer’s body so that part of things probably won’t require frequent cleaning. I’m picky about hygiene, and regardless of what kind of device I’m wearing, I always take it off weekly for a thorough cleaning, anyway. So, I don’t consider this a shortcoming of the device or any major inconvenience.

Recommendation

For someone who enjoys or would like to experience micro-chastity, I think the Bird Hook is an excellent choice. I really love how it simply makes my Johnson disappear, leaving behind only a shiny stainless steel cap pressed tightly against my testicles. I love the sleek profile, and as mentioned, I find this device exceptionally comfortable to wear, even while jogging.

As I said at the beginning, the device is available from just about every supplier of metal chastity devices, so they aren’t challenging to find. For a made in China chastity cage, I am very impressed with the quality, and they are very inexpensive. I think I got mine from the Wish website, but prices are pretty consistent across all the sites I’ve seen. I paid $10.95 for mine several months ago. Today they range from between $12.95 to $16.95. Amazon has them for $14.95 with free expedited shipping for Prime members.

As always, this review represents my own opinions. I purchased the item reviewed from my own funds. Prices provided were accurate at the time of publication, but may have changed. I hope you find the review useful, and comments are always welcome.

Cherry Keeper Chasity Device Review

While looking for a light-weight plastic or resin chastity device to wear during my long-distance training runs, I came across the Cherry Keeper chastity device by Josielynn’s Body Jewellery. I first heard of these devices while reading posts on a male chastity web forum I follow. There were plenty of positive reviews there on the Cherry Keeper from satisfied wearers.

I followed a link to a site called Shapeways, where the Cherry Keeper devices are sold, to do more research. I was very impressed with what I found on the site, a wide selection of 3D printed chastity devices in a wide variety of bright colors made of nylon plastic with a smooth finish. With LJ’s approval, I ordered one to take a test drive.

Intro

In only a little over a week, the Cherry Keeper arrived in my mailbox. I found the design familiar, much like that of other ball-trapping devices I’ve worn, so there was no learning curve necessary.

I ordered my Cherry Keeper in blue, but as mentioned, there are lots of colors to choose from, including basic white. The device seemed well made, and the nylon material felt satisfyingly strong. Before putting it on, I assembled the cage to the ring and found the device has a consistent gap all around, which I like.

The finish on my device is referred to by the manufacturer as “Processed plastic,” which is best described as something like the exterior texture of an eggshell. The company also offers “Premium plastic,” which they say still has a slight texture, but is glossier and slipperier, meaning the skin will glide across it with less resistance.

For the most part, I found the “Processed Plastic” smooth enough. I actually liked the “grippy” feel of the texture. Concerning the ring, no doubt, the texture helps prevent any ball slippage problems. But, after wearing the device while running the first time, I found the surface of the ring rough enough to produce some mild chaffing. I’d read about that in reviews by other wearers in the chastity forums, so I knew exactly what to do. About ten minutes of sanding with 600 grit wet sandpaper made a world of difference. I didn’t sand it until completely smooth, just smoother than it came out of the box. So, I still retained some of the “grip.”

Depending on a person’s personal preference, a little sanding might be in order or a lot. I expect some people will like the grip while others will prefer smooth.

Meet the Cherry Keeper

cherry-keeper-chastity-device
Small Cherry Keeper

As stated, the Cherry Keeper is a standard ball-trapping device that comes in two parts.

1. Base ring

2. Open-style nylon cage.

The base rings are literally available in any size. If you need a size that’s different from the many standard sizes offered, you can contact the designer, JosieLynn Jewell, and she promises to fix you up with whatever size you need.

I went with an ergonomically shaped, 50mm ring, which is larger than I typically wear with steel devices. I assumed because of the lighter weight, I could get by with a larger base ring to gain a little more comfort. Turned out I was right. The 50mm ring works great for me and keeps the device right up against my body. There is a wide selection of base rings to choose from, both with regard to shape and size. Double base rings are also available.

I went with the basic small cage design, but here also, multiple styles and sizes are available. I feel safe in saying that the Cherry Keeper is available in a size to fit almost anyone.

The Cherry Keeper is sold a little differently than you may be accustomed to. Instead of ordering the device as a complete unit, you must purchase the cage and ring separately. Also, these devices do not come with locks, which must be purchased separately.

Still, once you’ve ordered a base ring, cage, and lock, you will find that the cost is very reasonable, especially when compared to custom-made chastity device prices. And, in my opinion, with all the sizing options available, the Cherry Keeper is virtually a custom device. Prices vary based on the size, color, and finish selected, but as an example of the prices, I paid $23.95 for the cage and $16.95 for the base ring. That’s around just forty bucks for a solid, well-made chastity device.

According to the designer, the Cherry Keeper was designed for and works best when using an integrated magic lock. I had a cheap one that came with another micro chastity device I already had, and that is what I used with mine when the device first arrived. But, the lock is cheap and gets a bit cranky at times, so I ordered a quality Burg Wachter ME/2 integrated magic lock from Steinlock.com for $25.00.

However, not everyone wants to lock up with an integrated magic lock. Thus, the designer also offers other multiple locking options. Add-on kits are available at an extra cost that gives the options of using a standard small padlock or an Abus padlock. There are also options available for locking up with single-use plastic locks in three different styles. For the hardcore chastity enthusiast, there is a “Permalocker” option also available for the Cherry Keeper, a lock that can only be removed by those daring enough to use a power drill in uncomfortably close proximity to their manhood.

Fit

I won’t take the time to regurgitate all the sizing options which can easily be referenced on the Cherry Keeper website. Instead, I’m only addressing fit using the measurements of the device I ordered.

My device has an inside diameter of 35 mm, a depth of 35.4mm, and a ring to cage gap of 8.0 mm. The cage length is 45.9 mm (1.81 inches), and the total assembled length is 59.7 mm. I get a comfortably tight fit inside the cage with the tip of my penis against the end of the cage, though there is a small “turtling” effect since the cage is a bit shorter than my flaccid length.

While the designer does provide some tips on measuring for a Cherry Keeper, I found using the measuring guide at Mature Metal worked great.

Comfort

Once I did the minor sanding mentioned previously, I have found the Cherry Keeper to be without a doubt, the most comfortable chastity device I have ever worn. That’s saying a lot since I’ve had the opportunity to wear quite a few different devices since I started with chastity, though all the others have been steel devices.

Once I have it locked on, I’m not even aware I’m wearing the Cherry Keeper. It’s that comfortable. In fact, if it was up to me, the Cherry Keeper would be my permanent chastity device. Unfortunately, it isn’t up to me. LJ insists on a stainless steel device for general 24/7 wear. She only allows me to wear the Cherry Keeper for running, which was the agreement we made when she allowed me to order it.

Security

Security may be the Achilles heel of the Cherry Keeper. While testing it, I found that if I pushed down on the top of the base ring with a thumb so that it was away from my body, roughly parallel to the floor, I could then use a finger of my other hand to work my flaccid penis out of the cage and the ring with only minimal effort.

Once my penis was out, it wasn’t very difficult to get my balls out of the ring and the locked device completely off. In fairness, I wasn’t able to get the device back on without unlocking it. So, without access to the key, had I been escaping to cheat, I would have been forced to confess it to my keyholder. The Cherry Keeper is the first chastity device I’ve tried that I was able to so easily escape from.

That said, male chastity is a powerful fantasy, and one of the biggest fantasies of all is the notion of finding the inescapable chastity cage. While it may sound simplistic, stereotypical, and maybe even a bit primal, the truth is the typical male is always looking for his next orgasm. That is part of the appeal many of us guys find in submitting to having our dicks locked in a chastity device and giving control of our orgasms to someone else. The fact that the male sex drive is so strong is why it is often so important that we perceive the chastity device as being impenetrable.

But, for anyone who has been in chastity for very long, we know that no device, especially, no ball-trapping device without incorporating a body piercing ring can be made impenetrable or escape-proof. Any guy who is determined enough and has little fear he will suffer an injury can inevitably find a way to escape from any chastity device. When you consider it, there is no chastity device that is one-hundred percent secure. So, we might say the Cherry Keeper provides a little less of the illusion of being escape-proof than many of the other devices I’ve tried. How much of a problem that is, depends on the individual.

As I’ve said many times on this blog, I’m not the escape and cheat type. I want to be kept in chastity, and I honor my commitment to my keyholder and to myself. When in place, the Cherry Keeper does the job when it comes to preventing me from easily touching my penis for pleasure and stops me from masturbating. That meets my expectations and requirements.

But, for a guy who can’t trust himself not to cheat, the Cherry Keeper might not be a good option. That is unless a body piercing is incorporated into the mix. Given the open design of the Cherry Keeper cage, I think that could be easily accomplished with the use of an external Prince Albert piercing ring lock. But, in the final analysis, without a piercing, the Cherry Keeper isn’t very secure on its own. That’s the opinion of a guy who has found the steel devices I’ve tried quite secure with a properly sized ring and gap.

Hygiene

Hygiene, something I won’t compromise on, is where the Cherry Keeper truly shines for two reasons. First, the open design makes keeping things clean a snap. Using a handle-held showerhead, I’m able to give the cage contents a very thorough cleaning. The other thing is the spacing of the bars at the end of the cage means urination isn’t a problem. I can easily stand and pee normally while wearing this device. I’ve even used it standing at a public urinal without any errant spraying or dripping issues. Still, the crossbars are close enough together to prevent the tip from slipping through. Thus, I give the Cherry Keeper top marks in the hygiene category.

Recommendations

Overall, the Cherry Keeper is a quality-made device that does adequately perform the function it was designed for. I just can’t give it my unreserved recommendation because of the ease of escaping from it while locked.

Still, it performs like a champ for the purpose I wanted it for, something light-weight and comfortable for long-distance running. For me, the easy escape issue isn’t a real problem since I’m only allowed to wear the device for running and am then required to switch back to my permanent, more secure stainless steel device.

I have no affiliation with Josielynn’s Body Jewellery or Shapeways. I purchased the reviewed device using my own funds, and this review represents my own honest opinions.

Watchful Mistress Chastity Device Arrived

My Watchful Mistress chastity device from Mature Metal arrived, and I’ve been wearing it for almost a week. I love it so far, but in fairness haven’t had it long enough to do a full review just yet. Still, it’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I thought I’d talk about it a little.

watchful-mistress
Watchful Mistress by Mature Metal

I’ve been busy working on Females of Vulvar, the fantasy science fiction novel I mentioned in the previous post, which is why I haven’t gotten around to posting lately. Also, I think that as I approach the second full month of being locked and denied, chastity is no longer consuming my every waking thought as it did at the beginning. Not that I find it less appealing, it has just become such a normal part of life for me. I don’t constantly think about as I once did.

I have found it super easy to forget I’m wearing a chastity device since I put on the Watchful Mistress. It fits perfectly, it’s light-weight for a stainless steel device, and I’ve found it amazingly comfortable. The craftsmanship is rather breathtaking in comparison to the lower end devices I’ve worn previously. Yes, a custom-crafted chastity device is a big investment. But, in my opinion, this thing of beauty from Mature Metal seems worth every penny.

While Mature Metal offers a security screw option for the Watchful Mistress, I opted to go with the Abus padlock option. The center pin on the base ring and the receiver on the cage are drilled precisely to achieve a tight fit with the shackle of the lock.

This takes some getting used to. You have to get all three holes (the one in the center pin and those on either side of the receiver) perfectly aligned to get the shackle inserted. If things are even a little bit off, the tip of the shackle won’t slide through the three holes.

Another thing the very precise tolerance means when going with the padlock option is you really have to go with the Abus padlock. The way the device is designed, the tight fit with the specific diameter of the Abus shackle, helps keep the cage properly aligned with the base ring.

I experimented with a couple of other padlocks I had on hand, both of which had slightly smaller diameter shackles. Both allowed the cage to twist slightly, which opened the gap between the cage and base ring on the side, which could allow for ball slippage. But, sticking with the Abus padlock, the device comes with (for a small additional charge) makes the device fit perfectly. I’ve even been able to move up to a slightly larger and more comfortable base ring with this device. That’s because it has been built with such tight tolerances.

Overall, using the Mature Metal measurement guide when I ordered the device has provided me with a permanent chastity device I’m confident I’m going to be happy with for years to come. The inside diameter is perfect, as is the base ring size I ordered.

I do wish I’d ordered the cage about a half-inch shorter. While I did my best to get accurate measurements before ordering, the cage is usually about a half-inch too long when my penis is at its flaccid smallest. Of course, there is a possibility that I’ve experienced a bit fo shrinkage since I ordered the device.

At some point, I may return the device to Mature Metal and pay them to have it shortened. That’s another advantage of going with a custom-made device. You can send it in to have anything but the diameter of the cage adjusted. You must get that right the first time.

The slight extra length isn’t a real problem other than from an aesthetic point of view. LJ likes the look of a full cage and immediately said the cage was too long when I put it on the first time.

In conclusion, I’m really happy with my new Mature Metal chastity device so far. In another week or two, look for a complete wear-tested review.

My First Chastity Novel Sorta

females-of-vulvar-novel

Since getting into the chastity life, I’ve read quite a few chastity novels. What I’ve found is they are all pretty similar.

Guy’s dominant wife or girlfriend introduces him to chastity (or sometimes he requests it like in real life). At first the guy is thrilled about it. But, after days, weeks, or months of his wife or girlfriend getting all her sexual desires fulfilled in spades with no release for him, the guy is so horny he can’t see straight. So, either he starts to hate being locked or else he enters that Nirvana state where he no longer cares about getting off himself. He only wishes to pleasure and please his dominant wife or girlfriend.

Sure, sometimes the writers toss in a little cuckolding or the guy gets feminized by his dominant female partner who trains him to love getting pegged and sucking cock. But, the plots are pretty much interchangeable. So, I decided to write a chastity novel of my own, something a bit different. Since I like the genre myself, I decided to write a science fiction dark fantasy novel with a chastity twist.

I don’t want to mislead anyone who enjoys the type of fiction I mentioned at the beginning. Chasity in my novel, Females of Vulvar, is used as a plot point, not as the entire plot. And, it takes place on another planet in a galaxy far away.

The story begins when the main character, an archaeologist named Tobias Hart, visits ancient Native American cliff dwellings in southwest New Mexico. One night, while camping near one of the archaeological sites, Hart is abducted by aliens and transported to a dystopian, barbaric world called Vulvar. On arrival he learns that women rule the planet and all men are enslaved to serve their pleasure.

Hart also learns that he is to be used as a breeding animal to help improve and insure the survival of the Vulvarian race. Since the aliens don’t want him wasting his “seed” through self-pleasuring himself, Hart gets locked in a chastity device.

Soon, our enslaved hero is purchased by an incredibly beautiful, but sadistic Vulvarian woman. Homesick and tired of the barbaric treatment as a slave, Hart starts to think about ending his own life as he knows there is no possibility he will ever be able to escape and return to Earth.  But, then the unexpected happens.

Hart’s captors offer him a deal. If he will lead an archaeology expedition into a remote and dangerous region of the planet, and can successfully find and recover a valuable ancient artifact, his captors promise to release him from captivity and return him to Earth. From there, the story becomes the usual hero’s quest and Hart is transformed into a deep space archetype of Indiana Jones seeking the holy grail only on an alien planet.

If you enjoy science fiction dark fantasy or space opera novels and find you’re intrigued by the thought of such a book with a chastity twist, I hope you’ll check out Females of Vulvar. The book is set for release on April 7, 2020 and will be available in trade paperback and digital (Kindle) versions.

I’ve decided to make the digital version available exclusively on Amazon so that Kindle Unlimited members can read the book free. The paperback version will be available on Amazon as well as from other fine booksellers.

January 2020 Metrics

The first month of the new year is over. I’m ending the month in a new cage, Koalaswim’s Man Trap (MT 4889). It’s a much better fitting cage for me, one I actually fill. The Man Trap will see me through until Mature Metal delivers my custom made Watchful Mistress in February, though I do have a new custom made 3D-printed nylon cage on its way to me. I’ll reveal more about that one in a future post. Now to the stats.

Locked days

During January LJ kept me locked for 31 consecutive days except for short periods for cleaning and maintenance. Typically LJ allows a thorough cleaning once each week. My time out of the cage this month totaled one hour and twenty-four minutes. That comes out to around 99.8% of the month locked.

Releases

LJ only permitted me one ruined orgasm and one normal orgasm this month. The last came on January 12, so I finished January with 19 consecutive days of denial. No idea when LJ plans the next release. To be honest, I’m hoping for one over the upcoming weekend since this period of denial is already twice the length of any previous period since LJ became my keyholder.

While I really hate them, even a ruined orgasm would be welcome at this point. But any release may only be wishful thinking. About a week ago I mentioned to LJ I’d set a new consecutive days denied orgasm record. Her response was, “Yes, and each day you will set a new one.” That didn’t sound too promising. Hopefully, it was only a mind fuck. Now that she is teasing me regularly, my arousal level keeps bouncing off the ceiling like a helium-filled balloon.

Tune in next time when I’ll share more in the next post about the new 3D-printed nylon cage.

Man Trap Chastity Device Review

While the A086 cage worked pretty well for me once I got a larger base ring, there was one thing I didn’t like. The cage was a little over an inch too long for me. Also, the gap was a little too wide and as a result I had ball slippage a couple of times. Since it will still be several more weeks before I can expect to receive my Mature Metal Watchful Mistress cage, with LJ’s approval I ordered another cage to use during the interim. About a week later, I received the Man Trap (MT4889) from California vendor Koalaswim.

Intro

I was impressed with the Man Trap right out of the box. It seemed a quality build, constructed of surgical grade stainless steel. All cage interior and exterior surfaces were completely smooth. The gap was much narrower than that of the A086 I’d been wearing. And the gap was uniform all the way around. This was accomplished by setting the center locking pin about five degrees below horizontal. I was confident this device would not allow for slippage and I couldn’t wait to try it on.

However, after putting it on I immediately discovered that the narrow gap was too narrow for my high and tight scrotum. Things soon became unbearably uncomfortable. But, the cage itself fit so well I wasn’t about to give up on it so quickly. I took the base ring down to my shop, put it into a vice, and heated it with a torch. I then carefully bent the center locking post upwards to remove the five degree downward attitude. That opened up the gap, but still left it narrower than that of the A086. I put the base ring and cage back on after the adjustment and the fit was perfect.

I feel the adjustment I made would be necessary for guys with high and tight scrotum like mine to wear this device comfortably. But, for those with a longer scrotum and lower hanging balls the gap would probably be fine as it comes from the manufacturer. Fortunately, because of its high-quality construction, the adjustment is easily and safely made.

Meet the Man Trap

The Man Trap is another simple ball-trapping device is comprised of three parts.

1. Base ring.

2. Open-style vented stainless steel cage.

3. Brass padlock with two keys.

Base rings are available in the three standard off the shelf sizes – 2 in. (50mm), 1.75 in. (45mm), or 1.50 in. (40mm).

Fit

Man Trap doing it’s thing

This cage is 2-inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide. The length is perfect for me, exactly the same length I ordered for my custom-made Mature Metal cage. This eliminates any extra room for attempted erections to get started and also makes peeing a much less risky proposition. I still sit to pee to err on the side of caution, but with my urethral opening properly aligned with the urination hole at the end of the cage, I have been able to pee normally while standing with little or no mess. With an average size penis, I find the cage snug, but not tight. I’m easily able to insert my flaccid penis fully into the cage without use of the stocking method. Once the cage is mated with the base ring and locked, it feels very secure.

Comfort

This is by far the most comfortable device I’ve worn since beginning with chastity. While steel, it is surprisingly lightweight. That means the base ring stays close to my body. Initially, I was a bit concerned the opening to the cage might cause chafing where it presses tightly against the scrotum. The reason is that the opening is not an actual ring, but a ring formed of flat steel and therefore has a thinner edge than other devices I’ve tried. But, happily I have had no chafing problems at all. It’s been a non-issue.

Security

As mentioned, I find the device very secure. I’m confident It would be very difficult, not to mention painful if I tried to pull out of it while locked. Of course, we accept that no ball-trapping device is one-hundred percent secure unless combined with a piercing. Where there is a will, there is almost always a way. Still, for someone serious about experiencing chastity who has no intention of attempting to defeat the device, I think this device is about as secure as it gets.

Hygiene

Thanks to the open-design, I’ve found the Man Trap simple to keep clean. Since urination is less problematic, I’ve not experienced any funky smells between cleanings. LJ generally requires me to go a week between unlocking for cleaning and maintenance so hygiene is always an important consideration for me.

Other impressions

Beyond the adjustment I found necessary to accommodate my high and tight scrotum, I can’t find anything to dislike about this device. It’s well made and comfortable to wear. Koalaswim describes the Man Trap as part of its exclusive “Handmade” collection. I’m unsure what that means exactly, whether it means they manufacture it in the U.S. or not. All, I can say it doesn’t look like any made in China device I’m familiar with. The standard of quality suggests it isn’t made in China. I’ll be happily wearing this device until my permanent custom-made device is delivered. It’s also great to know I have a well made, great fitting device to use should I ever need to send my Mature Metal device back for any adjustments.

Recommendation

For a guy looking for a well made, mid-range chastity device and for whom a 2-inch cage length is appropriate, I see no reason not to recommend this cage. Just remember if you have a high and tight scrotum you will probably have to make the minor adjustment I’ve described. At the time I published this review, it was available from Koalaswim for $69.00 plus shipping. It’s far superior to any of the cheap, made in China devices I’ve tried personally and I’ve had great experiences with Koalaswim both times I’ve made purchases from them.

Only my own opinions are expressed in this review. I purchased the Man Trap using my own funds, and I have no affiliation with Koalaswim.

Chastity Metrics SITREP

Today marks the end of my thirty-day introduction to chastity. So, it seems an opportune time to provide an updated situation report. This final day doesn’t end until the stroke of midnight, but having high confidence LJ has no intention of unlocking me or giving me a release today, I saw no reason to delay this post until tomorrow.

Thirty days multiplied by twenty-four hours equals 720 hours. I was out of the device for 22-1/2 hours (3.1-percent) over the thirty day period of December 23, 2019 through January 21, 2020. Most of those hours (around 80-percent) came in December, and included the first two nights when LJ didn’t allow me to sleep while wearing the device as a safety precaution. The remainder of the unlocked time was for cleaning, maintenance, and activities LJ prescribed that required removal of the device. I was locked for the remaining 697-1/2 hours (96.9 percent). You can see the percentages visually presented in the above pie chart.

I wore the Jailhouse device for the first two days and then switched to the A086 which I wore for the rest of the thirty days.

LJ let me have one ruined orgasm and one regular orgasm during the thirty days, so I spent 28 of the 30 days in denial. The longest number of consecutive days without any kind of release was 10. Trust me, that was a very severe reduction compared to the number of orgasms I typically had in any average 30-day period before beginning chastity.

As I shared in the previous post, LJ offered to assume full ownership of me and we’re rolling straight into it from the 30-day introduction. I fully expect to spend an even greater percentage of time wearing the device going forward than I did during the introductory training phase.

For anyone who may be interested, going forward I plan on posting metrics like this monthly. The next update will be posted February 1.

The road goes on forever in chastity

“The road goes on forever and the party never ends,” says the lyrics of a Robert Earl Keen song. I suppose that fairly describes my circumstances with regard to my chastity experience.

As mentioned at the end of a previous post, my 30-day introduction to chastity and training agreement with Lady Jayne ends in three days. At the outset last month, she told me if things went well, she might extend a permanent ownership offer. If we both agreed, our arrangement might be extended indefinitely. That ownership offer came during our regular catch up chat last evening.

When I first started all this and reached out to LJ when seeking a keyholder, I was attempting to satisfy my curiosity about male chastity. I was committed to completing the 30-day trial agreement we made, but wasn’t sure I wanted to be locked permanently. Yet as the days and weeks ticked by, I found a stronger, deeper attraction to both the lifestyle and LJ’s control.

Halfway through I knew I wanted us to continue. At times LJ would speak about things which sounded more like her long-term plans for me than something more immediate. And she has been generous in her praise of how I’ve behaved under her authority. So, for a while now I’ve been confident she would make an ownership offer. I’d been thinking a lot the last several days about whether that was something I truly wanted.

Somehow the topic came up in conversation last evening, and LJ told me she had made her decision so it was time for me to make mine. She laid out the terms and gave me an idea of how things would differ from how they have gone the past four weeks. She told me about some additional areas she would expect to assume control over, and about a few of the perks I could expect with the move to a more permanent status.

The new areas she wants authority over all relate to enhancing her control over my access to sexual pleasure and stimulation. As two examples, I won’t be allowed to watch porn without her permission or order/use any new sex toys without her approval. Nothing major or anything I had any objections to. Perks LJ mentioned included more time with her and more frequent, structured teasing. I’ve already been very pleased with the access she has given me, and I’m all in on more intense teasing. So, I was happy enough with the added terms.

There was only one surprise. LJ doesn’t want a break. She wants to roll right into ownership at the end of our 30-day agreement. I on the other hand was of a different mind. I had been thinking about taking a break until the end of the month and restarting the first of February. But, LJ wasn’t down with me taking a week off “for a wank fest.“ She told me I could have a few days to think it over, but if I wanted to continue she intended we carry on without a break.

I didn’t need a few days to think it over. I knew I wanted to continue with LJ as my keyholder. A long-distance arrangement is what works best for me at the moment, and I’d researched quite well what is available in that regard before reaching out to LJ. She was hands down the best option I’d found which Is why I contacted her first. So, it wasn’t a difficult decision.

I have no interest in seeking a new keyholder because things have been so amazing with LJ. If she wants to carry on without a release, I reckon it is a small sacrifice to make on my part to skip a break. I can deal with it. I accepted her offer. Thursday LJ becomes my Domme and owner for the foreseeable future.

Looks like I’m now in permanent chastity. The road goes on forever and the party never ends.

New chastity cages on the way

I can’t believe I haven’t posted about this already since I’m really pumped about it. But, my first custom-fitted, custom made chastity device has been ordered from Mature Metal. Hopefully, it will be showing up in my mailbox within a month or so.

After discussing it with Lady Jayne, we decided on the Watchful Mistress. Mature metal recommends this model for long-distance relationships as it has an open design which makes it easy to clean without removing the device. It’s also advertised to be discreet under clothing and so lightweight and comfortable you forget you’re wearing it. All the reviews I read from those who own the device were super positive.

If left up only to me, I probably would have gone with the Jail Bird, which I like just as much. But, Lady Jayne considered it far too plain for her tastes. At any rate, I’m stoked to get my hands on one of the quality crafted cages from Mature Metal. Not to mention, Watchful Mistress was on my top three list.

I’ve also placed an order for another lower-end device with Lady Jayne’s blessing, which we intend to try out while waiting for the Watchful Mistress to arrive. It’s coming from Koalaswim.com Chastity Store, a company I’ve ordered from before.

Lady Jayne is definitely not a fan of low-end cages but allowed me to order the Man Trap to try until my permanent custom cage arrives. It too is an open design stainless steel cage which I hope will have a gap that fits me better. It is also the exact same length as the cage I ordered from Mature Metal so it will give me a chance to check my measurements.

Man Trap

The cage I’ve worn for most of the thirty-day chastity introduction with Lady Jayne has worked well enough for the most part. But, it is about an inch too long, and I’ve always hated the solid end cap with its “shower-head” effect when I need to pee. The fact that the cage is too long makes that issue even worse. Also, since going to the larger 45mm (1.75 inches) base ring, I’ve had ball slippage twice now which is a real pain. Hopefully, the Man Trap will solve those issues until the permanent device is built and delivered.

Once I get the Man Trap and have had a chance to wear it, I’ll be posting a review.
